The Corona Chronicles: The Final Countdown

Welcome back to the blog! Today I am writing probably one of my last Corona Chronicles posts, because while lockdown might not be over, I am going back to work as of this coming Monday…

This means I can finally get out of the house and get back to some sort of reality/normality, if you can even call it that! The company I work for is working behind closed doors, so we will have zero contact with the general public with the exception of couriers and people coming to collect their orders. It will basically be kerb-side collection ( or “curb-side” for all my US readers 😉 ).

As well as getting back to work, I’ll be getting a new ‘computer’ on Monday. I had a little accident before the weekend with my laptop, where it basically fell to the ground with a massive thud, killing what little function was left in the 5-6 year old laptop which was actually on it’s last legs as it was… I have already ordered it’s replacement and accessories to go along with it, and all going to plan I think I should actually have it by Monday! I’ll probably make a little blog post about it when I’m all set up, as it will be a brand new operating system to me and how I work. If you follow me on Instagram then you already know what it is– I’m soooooo excited!

For now though, I’m currently typing this blog post up on my 8″ tablet with a bluetooth wireless keyboard, which is only probably 7.5″ wide to be realistic, and the struggle is real… the keys are so small on it so I apologise if there are a hundred typos in this post, although I’ll do my best to proof read this as best I can before I post it.

My current setup. Not ideal. Very temporary!

So that is all I have for this week, because let’s face it, I hate this bloody keyboard and if I have to use it for much longer I’m going to throw it out the bloody window… and that’s being polite!

See you next week with a little more news, hopefully! 🙂

  1. I know what you mean, I cannot always get to my desktop and then I have to use my tablet without a keyboard. So difficult. I love a full size keyboard. I actually enjoy typing. Glad work is returning for you, and you’re getting a new computer. 🙂
