Thanks for joining me once again! Or if you’re not familiar with me, welcome! My name is Dean, I am a content creator from Ireland, and I have an obsession with creating blogs haha!
This one is different though, I swear! This one is just me, being me, writing about me, and the things that interest me! That sounds a lot more vein that it did in my head…
Ok so previously I had a book blog called WeeBitWordy where I wrote about my passion for books, wrote reviews for them etc. because I love to read. Unfortunately, it went on to make reading a chore for me because I wasn’t just reading for pleasure, I was reading with the intention of making a blog post about the book I was reading, which lead me to stop reading for almost a year–I did not like that one bit, So I’ve closed the doors at WeeBitWordy, and focused on my artwork, which is another passion of mine, and I also blog about that over on my other blog DeanKealy.Design, but for some reason blogging about what I’m creating over there is completely different to when I was book blogging.
So why this blog? Why now?
I need somewhere I can write about things. As a creator, I’m constantly getting ideas, and sometimes I don’t have anywhere to put those ideas. I see others around me writing blogs about general stuff or stuff they’re passionate about and it really makes me want to do that too, but I feel like I can’t do that over on my art blog because, well… because it’s an art blog–and sometimes I feel like writing about what kind of week I’ve had and people who follow an art blog don’t want to read that. Sometimes I want to share some stuff I’ve been reading, again not appropriate for an art blog. So this is going to be my platform for Anything Goes. I can post whatever I want whenever I want (but probably once a week for now) about whatever is going on in my life or in the world in general.
I’ve always been passionate about writing–like I said, I’m a content creator, so I like to create.
This is where I want to create.
